empowering STUDENTS through story
Since 2007, Jamie has partnered with schools and organizations to create dynamic learning experiences that use stories to inspire more confident, compassionate learners. With Jamie’s enthusiasm and support, students are guided to develop stories, create characters, write dialogue, stage action, rehearse and perform their own original material. Each class is an opportunity for students to stretch their imaginations, make new friends and gain self-confidence by bringing their ideas to life. Jamie’s theatre programming supports the Common Core Standards in fine arts, English language arts (ELA), physical development and health, and social emotional learning (SEL).
Jamie is proud to have provided years of programming to students at Solomon Elementary School, Mitchell Elementary School, Our Lady of Perpetual Help School, Rogers Park Montessori School, Adventure Stage Chicago, Dream Big Performing Arts Workshop, Chiaravalle Montessori School and more. She served as the Education Manager with Olive Tree Arts Network.
Jamie is a member of TYA/USA, the leading national organization for the professional field of theatre for children and families.
