Jamie delights in helping theatre creators realize their artistic vision by providing personalized, generous and thought-provoking analysis of their work through coaching and creative consulting. Drawing on her expertise as a dramatic writer and educator, Jamie crafts feedback that meets each creator where they are and supports their unique development goals. Jamie provides nuanced observations in all areas of story development, including theatricality, structure, character development, dialogue, pace, tone, and consistency. She welcomes partnerships with creators of all levels of experience with stories at any stage of development.

Coaching
For creators who want to develop their craft through one-on-one classes or who want support in the development of a new project.

2. Initial consultation
You and Jamie will connect via phone or video chat for a 30-minute consultation to discuss your development goals and the scope of service that will best serve your process. Following the consultation, you and Jamie will complete a contract outlining the parameters of your partnership.
3. COACHING SESSIONS
You and Jamie will meet via phone or video chat for your one-on-one coaching sessions. Most artists find that one-hour weekly or bi-weekly sessions best serve their processes.
Please note that each coaching session includes time outside your meeting for Jamie to prepare teaching materials and/or review your creative materials.
Creative consulting
For creators who have a completed script or performance and want to receive feedback in service of the piece’s development.

You and Jamie will connect via phone or video chat for a 30-minute consultation to discuss your development goals and the scope of service that will best serve your process. Following the consultation, you and Jamie will complete a contract outlining the parameters of your partnership.
3. work
Jamie will thoroughly review your work and provide a detailed written evaluation based on the goals and questions determined during your consultation. Jamie will also pose questions designed to inspire and challenge your current understanding of the work.
4. Receive and review
In an agreed upon time frame, Jamie will email you her evaluation and you will meet via phone or video chat for a one-hour conversation to review her notes and answer any additional questions.
